The Rise of Bully Boy
Known as "Bully Boy," Michael Smith won the PDC World Darts Championship in 2023, defeating Michael van Gerwen 7-4 in a final remembered for Smith's nine-dart finish moments after van Gerwen missed his own. That win took him to world number one for the first time in his career.
Career Highlights
Alongside his World Championship title, Smith has won the 2022 Grand Slam of Darts, three World Series of Darts titles, six European Tour titles, and the 2024 World Cup of Darts partnering Luke Humphries for England.
